Friends, husband, family and I have yet to find a person who puts others before themselves. Myself included. I mean TRULY does that. With no expectations in return. People always want something in return. There is always some kind of reciprocating act that must occur in the social exchange. People expect it. I don't mind it, but I have been starting to wonder if there will ever come a time where a positive social interaction can occur without the expectation of reciprocity. Or, maybe that is just how we humans work.
